GCX Series

IQAir^® GCX Series - high-capacity system for advanced gas and odor control

IQAir^® GCX Series has the highest capacity for gas and odor control. Just like a professional gas mask, IQAir® GCX Series maximize filter efficiency for different gases and odors by offering the right filter cartridge.

Additionally all the GCX Series come equipped with a HEPA pre-filter for an excellent airborne particle filtration efficiency of up to 99% at 0.3 mm.

The most appropriate applications of the The IQAir^® GCX Series are for:

• Tobacco smoke control
• Multiple chemical sensitivity
• Odor control
• Chemical control
• Corrosion control

The main difference between the GCX and its smaller sibling the GC is, that depending on the model, the GCX contains about 11-14 kg of gas phase media while the GC Series contains about 5.5-7 kg.
In addition the GCX Series feature larger pre- and post-particle filters. As a result the maximum air delivery of the GCX is about 20% higher than that of the GC.
 

Based on the environment, four customized models can be selected for any specific gas and odor removal needs. All the GCX Series, however, have the same basic system design.

• GCX VOC: for Volatile Organic Compounds;
• GCX Chemisorber: for gases such as formaldehyde, hydrogen sulfide, NOx and SOx;
• GCX MultiGas: for a wide spectrum of gases;
• GCX AM: mostly for ammonia- and amine-based gases.
